She Says I Love You, He Responds Thank You

Weekend shenanigans time!
How about a weekend spent with two four years old?

Yep that's right you heard it not one but TWO crazy, energized, sweet loving kiddos!
Madison had her bff's birthday party on Saturday which meant partying with the teenage mutant ninja turtles!

A party filled with presents, pizza, cupcakes, cake pops and lots of playtime!
Madison went into her shut down shy mode which made the beginning of the party awkward but once she was there for awhile she opened up and started enjoying herself.

Cash ended up staying at our house for the night after the party and boy did we have fun!!
I remember when I was little girl, the best part was having friends come over and stay the night.

So let's see what kind of shenanigans we got ourselves into:

First thing we did was have a little fun outside in between all of the downpours that occurred!

They loved the glider, they could do this without help which made them feel like big kids

Aren't they darling?
I then took the two to Dairy Queen where we all ordered chicken strips and fries. They ordered chocolate sundaes for dessert and I devoured a banana split (the usual)

Here Madison tells Cash "I love you Cash" and he responds with "Thank you", typical boy don't ya think? Had me cracking up hysterically.

No caption needed. Too cute for words!

We ended the fun with Madison's new game, Fruit Ninja where they argued over who was the winner and who's sword was who's. Madison is use to being an only child, even though we have taught her to share and be kind she had a hard time comprehending that everything wasn't hers.

Laying down for the night at 9:30 they were lights out in an hour. Bedtime went better than I had expected. They were angels.

We woke up the next day and took the two to Chuckie Cheese where they rode lots of rides, played many games and won a ton of prizes!

Cash even won first place in Mario Kart!

These adorable kids are growing like weeds!
It's hard to imagine what the future will bring with both of them leaving daycare in a month and taking on the preschool world apart.
I hope to encourage more play dates and sleepovers so they can remain friends throughout life.
