It.Is.Finally.Friday!!!! H54F!

To be perfectly honest this week has been pretty uneventful but I was completely ok with that!
I had such a rough day Wednesday that I literally came home from work and walked straight into the bedroom and slept for two hours. This oral surgery really has my schedule, motivation and sleep all screwed up! Speaking of teeth I get to go back to the oral surgeon today. I am about 95% certain that I have one or two dry sockets!  I called the dentist explaining the terrible throbbing on each side of my mouth and the ear ache I am having and lucky me he agreed that I need to be seen asap and I more than likely have dry sockets. Puke.
So I am hoping come Monday when I link up for the GBU that the good part of my weekend was that I am now pain free!

In the meantime I am linking up with Lauren to bring you the "High Five For Friday". This is where we share the five highlights of our week...

1. Chelsee over @ Southern Beauty Guide designed my beautiful blog design in two days! I am loving my new button and a lot of other features!

2. All of the wedding photos are in! Here are the last two pictures we received in the "sneak peek"
The Bridal Party

The groomsmen, the best man (the hubs-far left) and the Groom

3. I spent last night making out a new budget for the year. Save more, spend less! I also made a to do list and jotted down notes for some blogging topics I want to write about. I feel a little more organized now! Do you have a budget? Any tips or strategies that work for you? Please leave a comment!

 4. If you have a child then you know how it feels when they are super duper lovey dovey to you, right? Well Madison spent a lot of this week taking naps with me, hugging and kissing me and just being her wonderful self. I think she felt the vibe that mommy needed her alone time and that I wasn't feeling well. Love her to the moon and back!

5. Before filing our taxes Wednesday night we decided to stop over at City Barbeque down the street. Our first time visiting it was super crowded and the food was midocr. We haven't been back since. To my surprise, this time it wasn't busy at all and the food was much tastier since the dreadful day we decided to check the new place out. I think after a few years they have hired better servers and have perfected yummy quality meals. Needless to say we had enough for lunch the next day as well. Moral of the story: "Don't try something once, everything deserves a second chance

GBU: He Put A Ring On It

Good morning loves! Well as many of you know the event that took place this weekend was very much anticipated! My bestie Amber married the love of her life, Matt! They have been together for 8 years and were married downtown at Eupohria Saturday afternoon. I luckily was a bridesmaid and got to be a part of their special day. So for this Monday's link up with Kate and Kati there was more good than bad and ugly but still a post I am very excited to share!

The good...The sun was shining, the pictures turned out awesome, dinner rocked, our shoes were Chuck Taylor's so our feet felt great, the timing with everything worked out perfectly, the day and night spent with the family and friends was awesome and the hair stylist got my hair the exact way I wanted it to be.

Amber bought us all gloves that we can text with! So we had to goof off and try out our new gloves!
From left to right: Tim (my husband and best man), Matt (the groom), Jeff (groomsman) & Bill (groomsman)
Acting goofy as usual (pretend snowboarding)

All done up! Bridesmaid 2013

All my curls

The bad...The wind was nuts! Every picture that was taken outside I am sure will have bangs and hair across our face. It was very chilly and well with strapless dresses on it was a bit nippy! I am hoping the rest of the photos turn out to be as good as the preview pictures!

The Ugly...The night before the wedding all of the girls of the bridal party, the brides mom and the flower girls all had a sleepover. The maid of honor and I planned on sharing an air mattress to sleep on that night. Well needless to say it started out looking a bit like this

And ended up looking a bit like this

So needless to say our backs were killing us, we had absolutely zero sleep and we spent half the time talking and laughing about how miserable we were.

In all the weekend turned out to be great. I am so happy for the married couple and had a lot of fun celebrating with them.

How was your weekend?

Busy Little Bee

The day everyone usually dreads is back, Monday. At least for me my weekend flew by and I am very much looking forward to the next weekend coming up. So if that means tackling Monday through Friday than bring it on! My friend is getting married on Saturday. I am looking forward to the rehearsal dinner, our girls sleepover Friday night and getting all dolled up Saturday (I am one, of the two bridesmaids). So unlike everyone else I am ready for Monday to begin and every other day. Well before I get too excited about the future, let me tell you about my little crazy, planned filled weekend!

Today I will be linking up with the wonderful girls Kate and Kati for the GBU (good, bad and ugly). We share what the good, bad and ugly moments of our weekend consisted of. So here we go....

The good...My family from Louisville came in from out of town and we were able to all try out a new restaurant we had never been to. Lots of laughter, catching up and great food! I couldn't of asked for anything more! I also met my friend for lunch and did got some retail therapy in. Nothing better than fattening our bellies and shopping till we drop!

The bad...I still haven't quite figured out what hairstyle I am going with for the wedding. Time is ticking and I cannot decide. Help please?

The ugly...I had to do my bi-weekly grocery visit yesterday and this means tackling my least favorite store, Walmart. With a family of three this means finding the least expensive place to purchase groceries, and well that means Wally World. Long lines, inconsiderate people and parking in the boondocks because the entire lot is packed. Bah hum bug. After a grueling hour we managed to escape the craziness and get back home for a relaxing more calm afternoon/night.

How was your weekend? Busy, calm, exciting? Are you looking forward to anything this week? Please share! Button up and join the link up party! If you haven't started following Kate and Kati's blogs check them out now!
Have an awesome, positive carefree day!
