Liebster Round 2!

I usually spend Fridays linking up with the lovely Lauren for H54F but I decided to change it up.
This has been a crazy, stressful week for me. Busy doesn't begin to cover it....BUT, there have been some pretty amazing things that have happened this week. We might have found the preschool/daycare that we want Madison to attend come this fall. We found out last week that our wonderful daycare provider will become a substitute/assistant teacher and will be closing her in home daycare. Wah wah. So being the spastic mom I am I started calling/emailing every place in our area and thank goodness I did. Most places will be full for the upcoming school year by the end of this month! I am grateful to say that the one we have chosen fits our budget, is in our area and seems too good to be true. I'm praying she gets in! (Did I mention I am a bridesmaid in the besties wedding and it is tomorrow?!?!??)
In other big news and the main reason for this post, I have been nominated again for the Liebster Award!! Thanks so much to the wonderful Chelsee who nominated me! Check out her here!  11 Random Facts about myself:

1. I never attended college. At the end of high school and until now I have never decided on one career worth spending thousands of dollars on a degree for. I enjoy photography, cooking, social media and shopping. In the meantime while I figure out my plan to hit the lottery I will stick it out with my 8-5 desk job.

2. I work at a local wholesale print shop estimating. I type up quotes for customers and answer ridiculous emails asking if we print everything under the sun. Um no, we send you a catalog for a reason. Dee dee.

3. I wish to have more friends invite me to do things. I like to feel wanted, needed and thought of. It truly makes me happy when I know people care about me and I don't have to do all of the work.

4. I have a tattoo that covers my entire left side of well my side. It is stretched onto a portion of my back, by my rib cage and under my arm. It is a tree with two sparrows.

5. I am constantly cleaning. It drives me crazy when things are not organized or put away. My family can agree to this. I have been told to just sit down and relax but I am kind of like the Energizer bunny. I just keep going and going.

6. I only like fruity drinks (where I cannot taste the alcholol) or wine. I have had a sip of a beer twice in my life and about threw up.

7. I spend wayyy to much time on social media. I should really try to limit myself to the time I spend on my phone and computer.

8. I haven't seen or talked to my dad since I was four. It's a long story. My mom raised us well. I say "Who needs a dad anyway?"

9. My hands and feet are cold almost always. I wish I could solve this dilemma. Everyone could be sweating and I am over here freezing.

10. I cannot accomplish teasing my hair. I cannot get my hair to look right when I do it. It ends up looking all matted up and crazy, I need a hairstylist daily.

11. I am very impatient. I don't like to wait. I REALLY need get this habit under control. Sometimes I am a total B and I need to calm it down.

 1. What is your favorite thing to blog about?

I usually love the link up with Jamie for "What I'm Loving Wednesday". It is the most positive and allows me to appreciate what I am loving that week.

2. What was your favorite thing you got for Christmas?

My perfume and body spray! VS Very Sexy and Bath and Body Works Forever Red.

3. If you had to choose one blog friend to be on a deserted island with who would you choose?

Oh my that is a hard one. I guess it would be Erin at Living In Yellow. She is down to earth, funny, has a great woredrobe, a stock in wine and takes a lot of baths. So I figure we would stay entertained, be very clean, have plenty to drink and look fabulous! Ha ha!

4. What is your greatest love in life?

My daughter. Having your heart walk around outside of your body is an experience. I would do ANYTHING for her. She makes my days brighter and my smile wider. I love her to the moon and back!

5. What tv show is your guilty pleasure?

The New Girl. The cast cracks me up every time I watch it. After a long, stressful day there is nothing better than sitting down and enjoying some laughter.

6. If you could switch places with any fellow blogger, who would you switch with and why?

I would switch with Kate at the Small Things Blog. She seems to have the entire package. Looks, personality, great life and great blog. I wonder what it would be like to have greatness in all aspecs of life. 

7. Are you a morning person or night owl?

Night owl! I could sleep all day and be up all night! I find myself up at night cleaning, blogging and facebooking. It is an obsession. During the day I am more laid back and lazy lol.

8. Are you from a big family?

No. Our family is pretty small. Being that it is only my moms side of the family. The extended family would consist of one grandfather who lives in TN. One lives here (on my dads side) and then I have an aunt and uncle and three cousins. Any other family members I hardly talk to or know. Within my immediate family I have one sister, two brothers, my mom and my stepdad.

9. What brands are you obsessed with?

Sephora, VS, Bath and Body Works, Hollister, Body Central and Yankee Candle

10. Do you speed up or slow down when you see a yellow light?

Speed up. "I ain't got time for that" See my first Leibster Award entry, I have road rage!

11. What is your favorite movie?

P.S I love you. Wow I cried and laughed. What a romantic love story. Plus Gerard Butler as one of the main characters. Ummm yes please!

I am ever so grateful to Chelsee for seeing greatness in my blog and wanting to share it with others. High Five!

Wow! I am literally shocked that it is already that fabulous time again! Friday, the best work day of the week.
Jeans at the work place has to be the best ever! Does anyone else have a better attitude when they are comfortable and relaxed? I know I do!
Pay day! Um hello yes please!
Friday's just make me smile.
I have a lot of things to smile about. While it was pretty uneventful, I do have my top 5 picks of the week! So let's get started shall we?

1. Madison went to the beauty salon with me and got her very first haircut! She had hair all the way down to her butt! She was super excited and received two suckers! Such a big girl now!

2. My company handed out our profit sharing bonuses today. I could of done a back flip when I opened the envelope. I have a great start to my Christmas fund for 2013 and a chunk of change put back for rainy days. Great compliments were said about me as well. It was a great moment. Hard work really does pay off. Patience pays.

3. This week I was nominated for the Liebster Award. I have seen it bouncing back and forth between other blog pages but I was never "hip" onto what it was or meant. Until this week! I have nominated 11 fellow bloggers as well. Hopefully they feel as grateful and excited as I am. It feels really good to know that someone nominates you as an up and coming blogger who deserves recognition and support. Thanks Sammie :)

4. Madison started dance class again after a two week winter holiday break. Watching her stand around with a group of girls chatting it up about random subjects was too cute! Watching her socialize is a proud mommy moment for me. She use to be shy and hide behind me when classes first started in July, she has grown so much in the last eight months!

5. I have managed to stick to some of my New Years resolutions so far. Among the "checked list" items, is having more time with my family and friends. I made plans two nights this week to have dinner with my mama! So much fun anytime we get together.

**Random Facts About Moi**

1.  I stay up way too late at night. Usually facespacin and mybookin (that's what the hubs calls it) jk in all reality more like stalking other bloggers pages! I am an addict. I could read all night.

2. I enjoy watching the Food Network. Unique Eats, Andrew Zimmerman and Rachel Ray are among my faves!

3. I am extremely forgetful. I have to save everything in my phone on my calendar for timed reminders or this girl will lose her head.

4. Cheese is a huge favorite for me, all cheese. Anything with cheese just makes my world happy.

5.  I am addicted to Starbucks. Seriously. If I could drink Grande Carmel Brulee Lattes all day I would.

6. I rely on the acceptance of others to fulfill my happiness. I know this way of thinking isn't good but I can't help it.

7. I should of been a race car driver. I drive way too fast. Break at the last minute and I tend to yell at people like they can hear me. Road rage is a flaw of mine.

8. I hardly ever eat breakfast. I hate eggs and everything else is just too greasy for me in the morning.

9.  I wish I would have been brave enough to tryout for the Pacemates dance squad. I regret not having the confidence.

10.  I clean constantly. I will go off the deep end if my house isn't at least picked up. I tend to battle it out with hubs, we do not see eye to eye on this subject.

11.  I love fruit. I could eat it for the rest of my life and be very very content.

1. What's your dream job?

A photographer. I would love to work for a huge company taking pictures. I am known as the PP (personal paparazzi) of all of our friends and family.

2. Favorite Color?
Black. Almost all of my clothes are black
3. What is your favorite sport?
Football. Go Colts! Yes, I miss the heck out of Payton Manning! Ok Go Broncos as well!

4. Tell us about your Dream Vacation?
It would be on a beach, some place warm, fruity drinks, lots of fun activities and scenery for taking great pictures.

5. Favorite Cereal?
Oh's. Crunchy corn and oat rings, filled with graham cracker bits, crispy rice and honey.

6. What is your guilty food pleasure?
Ice cream drumsticks. Vanilla, vanilla with carmel sauce or chocolate ice cream on a sugar cone with the bottom of the cone filled with hardened chocolate. Yummo!

7. High Heels or Flats?
High heels for going out (dinner, date, dancing, partying) and flats for business/work life.

8. Do you already have your (possibly future) babies names picked out? (You don't have to share if you don't want to...)
Madison i picked for my first daughter and I want to have another someday. I have thought about Riley. Actually I don't really think about it until I am prego with my eggo :)

9. Why do you blog?
To express myself. Make new bloggy friends. Become more productive instead of using all of my time on FB or Pinterest.

10. Favorite TV show(s)?
One Tree Hill (ended last year wah wah), New Girl, Grey's Anatomy, Guiliana and Bill, Xfactor & The Voice.
