Fifty Shades of A Beautiful Bastard

So how is it that after a three day weekend we end up with a four day work week but it feels like we have worked for days on end?

I don't know about you all but I sure had a week in crazyville!

Job security is what I like to call it just to make myself feel better but in reality I might have became a little more bald and gained about twenty new wrinkles.

I am hoping for a better day today!

So with that being said here are five little positive things that happened in my neck of the woods....

1. Although I am not at all a fan of the cast chosen to play the lead roles in next year's Fifty Shades of Grey movie I am excited to see the movie anyway. Not because of the Rated R reasons but because I really began to fall in love with the story and the characters. The trilogy was amazing and I loved all three books. I am interested to see how closely the movie follows.

2. The weather has been perfect this week allowing me to take Madison on bike rides and play at the playground at the end of our street. I am still the panicked stricken mother who wants to hold onto her and never let her go so as soon as she goes flying off I have to hold me breath every time.

3. I managed to give myself a little mani this week and with the crack polish I have noticed how long it actually lasts. It puts another protective coat over the color and has lasted about six days now. I'm impressed!

4. Oh Beautiful Disaster, very much in comparison to Fifty Shades! If you loved Fifty Shades you will love this book. I am more than half way through it and I have not been able to put it down. Unlike most books, this book switches between the man and the women so you are able to see each sides perspective on things. I love it!

5. Ikea! Need I say more? Ok, I will. I get to visit this place tomorrow and I am super excited! For all of you who have been are there any tips or advice? Any places around the area I need to visit while I am there or a restaurant I need to try out for lunch?

Well I am off to tackle another day!
Fingers crossed things settle down and I can leave at 5 with everything caught up and my mind free from work stuff!

  1. Personally I love Charlie Hunnam. I think he's going to do an amazing job as Christian Grey. I've never heard of the actress. So we will see. I can't wait to see it.
