Feeling More Like A Tuesday

With all of the days off, holidays and time spent at home it feels more like a Tuesday than a Friday but who's complaining?

The past week has been relaxing and I have spent every waking minute accomplishing something I've been meaning to do. Naps, read books, drink coffee, clean house and even play a hundred and one board games with Madison.

I would volunteer anytime to work 3.5 days a week!
Since I have already recapped my week and only worked two whole days that really don't involve New Years all I have left to share is a book and snow.
Exciting huh? My life is just full of adventurous things :)

First if you haven't read the Consequences series by Alethea Romig I suggest that you do. This series leaves you in a state that one cannot describe unless experiencing it for yourself. The emotion that overtakes you while reading this book is astounding! As of about a year ago you wouldn't catch me reading anything other than a magazine or my blog reel. Here lately I have been hooked on this series. As of tonight I have completed all three books! Amazing. Check out the first few chapters here and trust me you WILL love it!

Second, snow. Yes I said snow. Not just a dusting of snow but heaping amounts of it hit Indy Wednesday night and it hasn't stopped. Usually I wake up, make the drive to the sitter and into work feeling impressed by the road clean up but not this time! I left an hour and a half before my shift started and was still 15 minutes late! Can we get some spring weather around these parts please? Winter needs to be over and I mean now!

I am hoping for two more days of enjoyable time off of work. I plan on giving myself a mani/pedi, finding another good series/book to read and indulging in some "me" time!

Any suggestions for a good book to start on?

  1. We escaped with just a dusting down here...but we're supposed to get 4-8" on Sunday. We had to reschedule E's birthday party for tomorrow because the roads will all be closed otherwise. I so cannot wait for Spring this year!
