TGIF, Let's H54F!

Well, it's been a hectic, crazy busy week to say the least. Running here and there and everywhere!
Do you ever feel like this? Hurry hurry to the cemetery.
I mean seriously people do you ever feel like you are on a roller coaster ride, screaming to get off and you are just there, trapped, needing a break!
Yea okay maybe it's only me. Maybe not.

I would like to know how you are feeling this close to the holidays? Shopping, birthdays, blogging, dinner, work, errands, bills, house cleaning etc. You name it, this girl is doing! Even maintaining time for friends and family can become a challenge at times. I begin to wonder what each persons schedule is like. How do you keep organized? How do you keep calm and patient? Any tips for us crazies? Ok deep breaths. Rant over.

Let's get back to what actually has been pretty great this week!

1.A night spent with the family for my brothers birthday could of aired as hit reality show. Driving in the car singing to random tunes, speaking in a British accent for most of the night, riding on the children's rides in the middle of the food court and laughing our butts off made for a memorable birthday celebration.

2. We had an envelope "magically" appear at our house with three tickets to Christmas at the Zoo and a letter from head chief elf, Jingle. Madison earned her right to have a special night thanks to Santa and Lucy her elf. Once Lucy has returned to the North Pole I will recap our delightful time we have shared with our little nice but sometimes naughty Lucy.

3. I still remember the first craft I received from Madison when she started daycare. A Valentine's Day magnet. Oh how I teared up and my heart melted. Each holiday and sometimes on a non holiday I receive handmade crafts from my little bundle of joy. One of the highlights in a parents life. Receiving this little Rudolph made me smile from ear to ear.

My mom actually pinned this on Pinterest last week and I had many rolling of the eyes, yeah okay whatever, shrug the shoulder thoughts about it. But as the week progressed it stayed in the back of my mind. I started to really notice how much I am on my phone, how it may affect others and how I feel when someone else is doing it to me. So this week I had a kind of awakening within myself. So I have tried to become more thoughtful of others feelings and what they may be needing or asking of me. I want to treat others the way I would like to be treated. Have you ever been touched by a post, status, pin or a blog that stayed close to your heart? Did you make a change because of it?

The date 12.12.12 will never occur again.  Moments like these only happen a few in a lifetime. If you didn't have the opportunity to watch the awesome show that aired Wednesday night click here. Basically it was a fundraising concert to aid the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The proceeds went to the Robin Hood Relief Fund. Robin Hood is the largest independent poverty fighting organization in the New York area. Everyone coming together around the world to show their support and love for one another was amazing.
How did the week make you feel? Any "aha" moments? Special events or great moments?
Leave a comment I love hearing from you!
