Keep Loving And Never Stop

You might think life is going by fast but the moment you bring a little one into the world the time goes by at lightening speed. I still can't believe this will be our fifth Valentine's Day spent spoiling our love bug.

I'm just so grateful knowing I get to spend every day enjoying the little things. What are those little things you might wonder....

Snuggle Time: Whether it's cuddling up under a blanket watching cartoons, spending Saturday morning in my bed talking about our fun weekend ahead or enjoying a movie at the theatre with Madison in my lap it makes me smile.

Smooches and Hugs: I call them smooches because that's what Madison refers to them as. She grabs the sides of my face touches her nose to mine and gives me eskimo kisses and squeezes me tight.

Outbursts Of Giggles: We have this ongoing joke that all the ladies in our family share the same laugh or what we like to call the giggle and long pause as we gasp for air. Madison has inherited this laugh and it's the cutest thing. She and I lately have been driving down the road, stopping at a stop light, looking at the driver next to us and saying "Good Day" in our most ridiculous British accent. It's hilarious because they never seem to look our way but her and I crack up for five minutes straight.

Night Night Time: After I put Madison to bed I always peek in on her to make sure she's tucked in tight and sound asleep. I love sitting on the side of her bed and watching her sleep. Everything about her is so perfect to me. She truly is a blessing and miracle.

Whether you are single, in a relationship, have a child or children or even none at all focus on what makes you happy. What makes you smile? What makes you giggle inside? Love yourself, love the people who surround you and spoil yourself and them with gratitude, love and respect.

Love is what makes the world go round!

Love Like Crazy

via
New relationships are always fun, exhilarating and exciting. The first touch, hug, kiss, date and secrets shared stay in your memory and heart forever-but the "honeymoon phase" does it really last forever?

With work from both individuals yes it can!

This past weekend we celebrated the hubs grandparents 50th wedding anniversary!

The first thing that came to mind while sitting around all of our family was "what does it take to maintain a healthy, happy and loving relationship for fifty years?"

Over the years I have picked up some valuable tips from his wise grandmother. She is a sweet, strong and caring woman who puts the needs of others before herself each and every time. It is no wonder that any man wouldn't fall madly in love with her. I hope that one day I am half the woman she has become.

Even if you are in a new relationship or have been in one for quite some time I believe these tips will keep that honeymoon stage alive and love going strong!

1. Respect. Never say anything you don't mean. Treat each other with kindness. Listen to your significant other.  Respect is one of the most important things in a relationship. It should always be given and received.

2. Honesty. Always tell the truth. Never keep secrets. Even if telling the truth might not give you the response you are looking for, it will often turn out better than lying to the other person. Once trust in a relationship is broken, it takes awhile to build it back to its original state.

3. Fun. You MUST have fun together. Even if each interest is not agreed upon find something the both of you will enjoy. If you are not laughing or smiling or feeling a sense of happiness something is wrong. When all else fails you MUST enjoy the time you spend together.

4. Communication. Yes, communication is key! Every word relayed to your partner needs to be expressed in a loving, kind manner. There should be no screaming, yelling or physical violence. It is best to sit down when each person is calm, relaxed and ready to have a mature adult conversation.

5. Love. Never stop loving. Kiss. Embrace each other. Surprise each other. Show the person you are with that they are the only one you need and will ever need. Little gestures mean so much and are always appreciated. The more your love interest knows that you are thinking about them the more love and kindness you will reap in return.

A relationship is all about teamwork. Building and maintaining a relationship takes work from both parties. If you aren't getting what you deserve, tell him/her! Remember communication is key!! It's really all about working toward those golden years right?

Are We On The Same Ride?

The beginning of this week has been a rough one for me.
One ticket aboard the express train to Crazyville.
I have been emotional, antsy and have been questioning every decision I make.
I may or may not be having a mid life crisis.
Do you ever feel like you want to pick up everything and move to a different state?
Surround yourself with new people?
Find a new job and be happy for once when you go to work?
That's what I want to do.
Start over.
I am finding myself not happy with much these days.
I hate to be a debbie downer but I can't help it.
I'm just not happy.
I guess today's link up with Jamie over at This Kind Of Love is just what I need.
To focus on what does make me happy and what I'm loving!
If you haven't joined the link up before for "What I'm Loving Wednesday" we basically share items or things that we have been loving lately.
Either in our daily lives or on Pinterest.
I am taking the more personal route and sharing things in my daily life instead of so many items from Pinterest. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Pinterest but hey I like showing things I have actually bought or made! Hope you enjoy!
Grab a button and let's share some positivity shall we?

I'm Loving...Victoria's Secret's new line of products! This little bottle of delight is my new fave! Very Sexy Touch

I'm Loving...when I get to lunch on Monday morning, start scrolling through my picture gallery and find pictures that Madison has taken of herself. Does someone look like they need a nap?

I'm Loving...that I received my Ipsy Glam Bag! More great samples! Review to come tomorrow!

I'm Loving...that Madison has an artistic side! Her dad is an artist and I have no artistic bone in my body so it's nice she gained that skill! She is already staying in the lines better and using colorful bright colors!

I'm Loving...warm yummy hot meals at home! The weather has been rather how do I say it FREEZING! So saving money and staying inside with the heat has been very fulfilling.

What are you loving these days?
Food, crafts, beauty, your job, family, friends etc?
Drop a comment and share with me what makes you smile and your heart flutter :)
Have an awesome positive Wednesday!

Full of Love

Today's post of "What I'm Loving", a link up with Jamie, is dedicated to the wonderful love filled holiday that happens tomorrow, Valentine's Day.
I don't think this holiday is all about romance between a couple, I believe it represents all love.
To yourself, family, children, God etc.
So just remember if you are single, make it a spa day or go take yourself shopping or have a fruity drink to celebrate the love you have for yourself!
If you have children, make them a little basket, or take them for ice cream or do something special to express your love for them.
And if you are one of the lucky ones to be in a loving relationship, show your loved one just how much they mean to you, a date night or a gift basket filled with their favorite goodies will do the trick!
I do believe that these heart filled things should be done all throughout the year and not just on one day. Appreciation and love are the two key elements in any relationship.

With that being said let's get on with What I'm Loving for Valentine's Day, 14 Pinterest finds that I am loving for this holiday....
